About Us

There's a moment at The Concourse Project when the bass hits just right, the crowd locks in, and the city noise falls away. It happens again and again on Burleson Road, at a venue that has earned 4.5 stars across nearly 1,500 reviews not by accident but by obsession. The sound system is built for people who actually listen, the kind of rig that made a recent Purple Disco Machine set land hard from the first track to the last.

The site itself does something unusual for Austin. It gives you room. Open-air and industrial in the best sense, it trades cramped club walls for a layout where you can move, breathe, and find your spot in the crowd. Regulars describe it less like attending a show and more like stepping into a feeling, a specific frequency of freedom that only this address seems to produce.

That reputation is built on years of consistent bookings, a crew that takes production seriously, and a community that keeps coming back. First-timers show up for the lineup. They stay for everything else.

What We Offer

The Concourse Project runs a full calendar of electronic, dance, and live music events anchored by world-class touring acts and local Austin talent. The outdoor main stage and surrounding grounds are engineered for high-volume, high-fidelity performances, with a sound system that holds up whether you're standing at the rail or deep in the crowd.

Beyond ticketed concerts, the venue handles private events and full venue buyouts, making it a singular option for brands, labels, and organizations that want something more atmospheric than a ballroom. Production infrastructure, bar service, and the full physical footprint of the grounds are available for custom events.

The bar program keeps pace with the music, and the layout is designed to keep lines short and movement easy. Parking and access off Burleson Road make logistics straightforward even on sold-out nights, which matters when the headliner drops at midnight.

"I’ve been going to The Concourse Project for years and it’s honestly one of my favorite places in Austin. I’ve seen some of my favorite artists there and have made so many great memories with friends. The sound and production are always incredible, but what really keeps me coming back is the atmosphere. I’ve genuinely never had a bad night there. Whether it’s a huge artist or a smaller show, the energy is always amazing. Austin is so lucky to have a venue like this."

"The Concourse Project feels less like a place you visit and more like a feeling you step into. The music sits at the heart of everything — creating an atmosphere built on love, connection, freedom, and genuine community. Strangers become friends on the dance floor, conversations flow effortlessly, and every set feels like a shared experience rather than just a performance. There’s an openness here that invites people to be fully themselves, whether they come to dance, reflect, celebrate, or simply belong. It’s the kind of space where music doesn’t just fill the room — it brings people together. I will forever be grateful for everything The Concourse Project has created."

"The sound equipment is solid!! We went to see Purple Disco Machine, and the venue wasn't bad. But I didn't have to use the restroom or purchase any alcohol, so I guess I cut the known bad variables of a club experience right off the bat. However, the reviews I read were correct: parking is terrible 😕. This venue's website warns patrons that parking in the area around this place is very likely to result in towing. And it's true!!! We got there early and found parking. But when we left, numerous vehicles were being towed. I can only imagine what a terrible experience it must have been for those who left the concert only to find that their vehicle was gone ... 😰"

"If you are a fan of good music, energy and vibes, this is the perfect venue. My wife and my friends got me into EDM music. I didn’t realize Austin had a venue like this, which is perfect for EDM concerts. There’s multiple bars to make it easy to get beverages. I like all of the food truck options if you get hungry. The staff is friendly. There are indoor and outdoor sections. If you get too hot, you can always step outside when you need to. I will definitely keep my eyes open for more concerts here so I can return."

"Concourse project is by far leading the way in EDM venues. I brought my almost 60 year old mom and she had a freaking blast! Lists of vendors to scope cool new merch. Everytime I go it’s something new and I love it! I cannot wait for Fatboy Slim this April! 10/10 in my book!"
